When disaster strikes, we all know what will happen: Neighbors will help neighbors. But without a solid plan, this help will be disorganized and underprepared.
What is the plan for community emergency response for Point Richmond? Right now, we don't have one! Help us develop a plan for resources and services so we can be ready to help our neighbors in an emergency.
February's PRCERT meeting will focus on what the community might need in an emergency and help develop a checklist of needs for Point Richmond that we as neighbors can provide if we are cut off from first responders (pro tip: We *will* be cut off from services in a big enough distaster).
We need your help to have infrastructure ready to go in an earthquake, fire, floor or other disaster.
Refreshments will be provided.
