Become a ham in one day

  • Benicia Senior Center 1201 East 2nd Street Benicia, CA, 94510 United States (map)

Benicia Amateur Radio Club is offering a one-day ham radio class for beginners wishing to get a ham tech license or existing techs wishing to upgrade to a general license.

Many people typically require one to two months to prepare to pass their tests. This special one-day event streamlines the process with a day-long study session and an FCC exam administered by federally accredited Volunteer Examiner immediately at the conclusion of the class.

Conducted multiple times throughout the year, this class has been very well received by the greater Northern California community, and historically more than 90 percent of attendees to these classes pass the on-site FCC licensing exam.

Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
