REACT/CERT offers free skill refreshers for CERT graduates on the second Wednesday each month.

 

UPDATE: The August meeting has been cancelled in observance of summer break. This topic will now be covered during the September meeting. 

This month's topic: American Sign Language and Helpful Signs for CERTs to Know.

Though each meeting is tailored to be continuing education for CERT graduates, non-CERT graduates are welcome to attend.

Light refreshments served at 6:30 p.m., with presentation beginning at 7 p.m.

ASL & Emergency Signs for CERT Graduates

Topic is ASL (American Sign Language) with focus on signs useful to CERTS responding to a disaster. Trainers are Kathy Gerk and Chelsea Brown. Chelsea is Kathy Gerk's granddaughter and is deaf.
