Richmond's citywide CERT team invites all CERT graduates to its monthly continuing education meetings, held every second Wednesday of the month.
Each meeting offers additional training and instruction so CERT graduates can stay current in their skills and connect with other CERT graduates throughout the city.
Though specifically designed for those who have completed full CERT emergency-response training, these classes can be helpful for non-graduates interested in crisis-management instruction.
At June's monthly meeting, PR-CERT co-lead Edie Alderette-Sellers will talk on how CERT teams can set up a website quickly and relatively inexpensively, without the need to hire a designer or knowing how to code.
Light refreshments are offered beginning at 6:30 p.m. and instruction begins at 7 p.m.
